Khalil was enjoying a meal when he met his favorite “server,” Marline.From the very first interaction, her kindness, energy, and smile stood out in a way he couldn’t forget. By the end of the evening, Khalil knew he couldn’t let the moment pass.With a little encouragement from his family, he asked for her number before leaving the restaurant that night.Just two days later, what started as a simple dinner turned into our very first date. That date quickly led to many more, and soon enough, what began as a chance meeting grew into something much bigger than either of us expected.Over the past few years, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories together — from quiet nights in, to traveling, celebrating milestones, and supporting one another through every new adventure.Then, on a day meant to celebrate him, Khalil surprised Marline with a celebration of their love. On his birthday, surrounded by joy and excitement, he asked her the most important question of all — to spend forever together. With a heartfelt “yes,” we began this next chapter of our lives.Now, we couldn’t be more excited to gather with our family and friends in Cancun, the people who have supported and cheered us on, as we say “I do” and begin our forever story. #TwobecomeRice!
